"Figure out the thing that makes you different, and it may not always be the shiniest object out there, but it will be the thing that was you." (Lester Bangs to Cameron Crowe, Paste Oct/Nov 2005)
I'm now in my late-thirties, with no idea how I got here. I could trace the path backwards, but not without an amount of mental effort I need to spend on other things. I have a wealth of experience, yet am somehow busted. I have a great husband named Steve, who is the victim of some hyperbole around here, and who is really the best person I know. Our daughter Josephine was born in February 2004, and she has changed our way of being forever. We, unfortunately, have a cat named Boo Boo. For some reason, we thought we needed a Bastard Hound named Molly too. We live in a house we bought a few years ago that is caught in the state between disrepair and re-invention. We don't get around much any more.
